Uniting communities through Community Theatre

A community theatre can be defined as one that is operated by a given community. These theatres carry out a broad range of theatrical productions that range from dance theatre, to children’s theatre to musical theatre. Usually, participants from community theatres are amateur performers and actors. However, there are some professionals that participate as well.

You should note that the majority of theatres are community owned. These theatres put on shows, which entertain or benefit a given community. Thus, minority groups can enjoy some theatrical productions without the need for travelling far or paying a lot.
